Why did you choose Western Africa work to showcase in your portfolio? Explain.

I chose this unit because I think it is the best project and work that I have ever done in this semester. I think I did best on the work. The work came out great, it looks good.

Area of strength: Which standard was your strength and why?

I think my strength is that I references specific textual/source evidence to support analysis and point of view. This means I am using different work to back up my point of view using my research. I used pictures to explain about my work. (Down below)

Area of growth: Which standard needs improvement and how can you improve for the future?

I think I need to improve on using geographical concepts to describe and interpret information, what this means is that I used the evidence to describe the work information. I need to add more photos to help me describe the work. (Down below)

Do you feel that you are learning in social studies class? Explain.

I feel like I understand the Unit better than before, I feel like I improved on lots of new things. I always want to support all my topic and solution when I study in social studies and when my group is doing a debate.
