Unit Overview: In this unit I studied and practiced the process of planning and drafting a piece of realistic fiction. I brainstormed story ideas, and practiced writing techniques in my Writer’s Notebook, such as writing effective dialogue, using elaboration, crafting strong leads and conclusions, etc. My final product was a published Realistic Fiction story.
